Johanna Danaher is a coach and the founder of Anchor to Aspire, LLC. She brings 25 years of experience from Pfizer, where she led global work in organizational culture, leadership development, team effectiveness, and career growth—often partnering with leaders and teams in moments of change, uncertainty, and reinvention. Her work sat at the intersection of people and strategy: helping organizations evolve while staying anchored in what makes teams function well—trust, clarity, and a sense of belonging.

As a coach, Johanna is especially drawn to transitions where identity is in motion: career pivots, leadership stretch moments, midlife shifts, and the quieter “I know something needs to change, but I’m not sure what yet” seasons. She’s seen that many challenges aren’t a capability problem—they’re a clarity and energy problem. When stress is high, people can get stuck in overthinking, overfunctioning, or playing it safe. Johanna helps clients slow down enough to hear what’s true, reconnect to what matters, and make decisions from intention rather than protection.

Her approach is shaped by both professional experience and lived experience. After the end of her 25-year corporate chapter through role elimination, she moved through her own set of questions about meaning, confidence, and what she wanted to build next—an experience that deepened her respect for how complex change can be, even when you’re competent and “fine on paper.” She started out studying marine biology, and that early training still informs how she coaches: pay attention, notice patterns, and respect the currents beneath what you can see.

Johanna lives in southeastern Connecticut with her husband and college-aged daughter. She loves good books, the ocean, and conversations that invite honesty, perspective, and forward motion.
